Alicia Dale Alexander passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the early morning of Monday, August 12, 2024. Alicia was born on August 21, 1952 in Elizabeth, NJ to Janet Virginia Alexander and John Richmond Alexander. She loved to sing and to care for others, and studied Psychology and Performing Arts at Antioch University in California.

Alicia moved to Ithaca, NY in the early 1980's where she raised three children, ran a small farm, and tended to a plethora of beautiful gardens under the moniker Five Foxes Farm. Alicia ran the Amazing Grace Bed & Breakfast, played and recorded music, hosted poetry and writing workshops, and led a variety of events and fundraisers including her favorite, the Cowgirl Jamboree!

Alicia was also a great traveler and an enthusiastic motorcycle rider. She visited 49 of America's 50 states, and rode her motorcycle in 48 of them. She had visited many of the National Parks, as well as many little known peach groves, sandy beaches, redwood stands, and cenotes across North America. Her friends and family fondly remember trips to Nova Scotia, the Yucatán, the Florida Keys, whale-watching in Baja and more.

Alicia is survived by siblings Karen Reimer (sister), Kerry Dolan (sister) and Michael Dolan (brother) as well as by her children Ian Armiger (son), Beatina Theopold (daughter) and Jessica Theopold (daughter).  In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in her honor to the Skä•noñh Center, the Cayuga Nature Center, or Doctors Without Borders.
